London Calling

Introducing Britain and British culture, students will deepen their understanding of English language and culture while exploring iconic famous landmarks.

Week 2

Exploring New Horizons

Embark on an adventure of discovery: Learn English through practical experience. Bringing the classroom to the World.

Terms and Policies

Educational & Cultural Field Trip to the UK is an educational experience designed specifically for young adults age 11 to 17 and adult 18+. Participants travel to various interesting locations across the UK to expand their knowledge through hands-on and interactive learning activities. Discover the English language through active, academic and creative activities in a beautiful and friendly school.

  • To confirm your registration, please submit a registration form and provide your visa documents, along with a deposit of £550, at least 7 weeks prior to the course start date. This deposit is mandatory upon registration, and £165 of it is non-refundable in the event of a visa denial under UK Visa Immigration regulations.
  • Full fees as quoted on your pro-forma invoice must be paid at least 4 weeks before the course start date. We cannot guarantee to hold the student’s place on the course unless all fees are paid in full and on time. Students with unpaid fees will not be admitted to the course.
  • Payment can be made by bank transfer direct to Briton English Education.
  • It is your responsibility to cover all bank charges and exchange rate differences for payments.
  • Full supervision by qualified and experienced staff.
  • Standard visitor visa and travel insurance.
  • 15 hours of lessons and programmed activities.
  • 1-week full guided excursion to the Northern England and Scotland.
  • Entrance fee to the football stadium in Manchester (Old Trafford or Etihad).
  • Accommodation and all meals included.
  • All learning materials and end of course certificate.
  • Transfers on scheduled arrival and departure days from and to designated airports.
  • Cancellations must be made in writing to Briton English Education. Once a booking has been confirmed, the following cancellation notice periods and fees apply:
    • 1-4 weeks before the course start date: 40% refund of course fees.
    • Less than 1 week before the course start date, non-arrival or early departure from the course: No refund will be made.
    • For any notice period given, a ‘week’ counts as Sunday to Saturday.
  • Any refunds must be made by the same payment method and to the same source as the original payment. Fees are not transferable to other students.
  • In the event that Briton has to cancel a course, we will refund all fees paid to Briton.
  • The visa processing will be carried out after settling the deposit payment and completing the necessary visa documentation.
  • Delays in deposit payment and submission of visa documents may result in additional visa fees.
  • The risk of delays and re-sending additional documents is the responsibility of the participant.
  • £165 part of the deposit fee is non-refundable if the visa is rejected according to UK government regulations.
  • Additional priority fees (express visa) apply if visa documents are submitted less than 6 weeks before departure.
  • The course provider in the UK is an institution accredited for both quality and recommended visa processing by the UK government.

All airport transfers will be arranged free of charge upon arriving and departure.

Insurance is included as part of our course fees and covers the following, amongst others:

  • Trip Cancellation and Alteration.
  • Medical and Other Emergency Expenses.
  • Travel and Associated Expenses.
  • Baggage and Personal Belongings Cover.
  • Personal Accident.
  • Reparation of Moral Remains and Other Related Benefit.
  • You must inform us of any medical, dietary or other details which may affect the student’s ability to participate in the course before the course starts.
  • Any student arriving with a serious medical condition not previously reported, which requires regular staff supervision, may be sent home with no refund of fees.
  • Students must hand in any medication they bring with them to course staff on arrival. Medicines will be administered under supervision by course staff.
  • In case of a medical emergency, if the student’s parents/guardians cannot be contacted, Briton will act with a duty of care and will arrange for a doctor to give any medical treatment considered necessary, as well as authorise the administration of an anaesthetic and operation.

It is your responsibility to inform Briton of an emergency contact telephone number where a parent/guardian/agent can be contacted 24 hours a day, including the student’s arrival and departure days.

Students agree that photographs, videos, artwork or other works, as well as recorded or written testimonials, may be used, stored or transferred internationally by Briton for promotional purposes including printed and online marketing materials and on any social media network without further consent or notification. If students do not wish to participate, Briton will respect their wishes, but it is the student’s responsibility to absent themselves from the photograph/video.

  • The course fees do not include students’ pocket money for personal expenses (gift shopping, local sim card, entrance fee to sites outside of the stated package or itinerary and overweight baggage more than 30kg).
  • We highly encourage parents to provide students with additional pocket money in their personal bank account. Cash is not recommended as most of the payment methods in the UK are cashless. Visa and Mastercard are suitable in most tenants, while GPN cards are not accepted.

Briton and its employees and representatives will not be liable for loss, damage or injury to persons or property howsoever caused, except where liability is expressly imposed by law. Briton will not be liable in the event that any service contracted to be supplied by Briton becomes impossible to supply for any reason or any cause outside the control of Briton.

By making a booking with Briton you are agreeing to the storage and use of the personal information you supply about the student and yourself for Briton’s purposes only, which may include issuing confirmation documents, processing payments, managing course arrangements and helping students in need of medical attention.

The following rules apply to behaviour on our courses, including during study tours and in all accommodation.

  • Students may not leave the school or be absent from meals without permission from the principal.
  • Students must attend all lessons, activities and study tours.
  • Students must observe the rules relating to IT software.
  • Students must observe bedtimes, and silence must be maintained in bedrooms after lights out at night.
  • Students are not allowed into the bedrooms occupied by students of the opposite sex.
  • We will not tolerate any bullying. In serious cases students may be sent home.
  • Students must not misuse centre facilities including the activation of alarms without due cause. Fire escapes are for emergency use only.
  • Mobile phone, iPods and other electronic devices must be switched off during lessons, activities and after lights out.
  • No smoking is allowed on any young learner course at any time. Electronic cigarettes are not permitted.
  • School swimming pool rules must be strictly observed. No student may enter the pool if there is no lifeguard present.
  • Students must hand in their passports for safekeeping.
  • Students should keep all other valuables safely locked away, or hand them in to their houseparent for safekeeping.
  • Students found to possess, use or supply alcohol or illegal drugs will be sent home with no refund of fees.
  • Any students breaking these rules, or English law, or persisting in serious anti-social behaviour will be disciplined and may be sent home early with no refund of fees. If a student is expelled from the course, parents/guardians will be responsible for departure travel arrangements.
  • Briton will not be responsible for any failure to comply with any of its obligations (and therefore shall not be required to provide any compensation) if the failure is the result of any cause beyond Briton’s reasonable control.
  • Briton shall not be responsible for any costs incurred by or on behalf of the student because of any such occasion. Such instances include but are not limited to, war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, unusually adverse weather conditions, pandemic and infectious diseases.
